Feeding Impact: Food as the Front Door to Nutrition Access

March 26, 2026
2:00 – 3:45 pm
The Purpose Center
1650 Olive Road
Augusta, GA 30904

Feeding Impact is a hands-on training for food pantries, meal programs, churches, and community food groups designed to help organizations move beyond just meeting emergency needs and start building long-term access to healthy food.

Participants will learn practical ways to connect food distribution with nutrition programs that support people’s well-being, respect their experiences, and build resilience—without adding extra work for staff or volunteers. Practical tips for referrals and connecting clients to other helpful nutrition and community resources will also be shared.

Covering current trends, funding opportunities, policies, and proven approaches in food and nutrition access, through real-life examples, this training emphasizes treating people with dignity, building trust, and working together.

Participants will leave with clear, actionable steps to strengthen partnerships, improve outcomes for the people they serve, and better connect their food programs to public and private nutrition resources.
