We believe that we are all better together.
Your organization strengthens the CSRA and we are committed to helping you thrive. We see our role as a community bridge builder – connecting donors with causes they care about, nonprofits with resources they need, and the community with opportunities to engage in our philanthropic work around issues that matter. From our competitive grantmaking programs to organization fund services to training and opportunities to network with your peers, we are committed to creating a strong, dynamic nonprofit community – one that will build a better, more vibrant region for all.
Through our grantmaking programs, we support a six-county area that includes Richmond, Burke, McDuffie, and Columbia counties in Georgia and Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. We invite you to review the CFCSRA grant opportunities and other grant opportunities in the community to see what might be a good fit for your organization.
Training & Networking
Nonprofits rarely have the resources to invest in quality training for their staff, board and volunteers, yet we know that learning new skills is key to the long term health of your organization. We are here to help. Throughout the year, we offer training and networking opportunities at little or no cost to you.
Pursuing long term financial sustainability through an endowment is a big step, even for established nonprofits. We understand that the pressure to raise annual operational dollars often takes priority over and diverts attention, resources and staff from building an organization’s endowment. That’s why more than 30 area charitable organizations have chosen to establish an Organization Fund at the Community Foundation. This solution comes with proven investment management and administrative expertise to help your organization fulfill its goals. Opening an Organization Fund expands your fundraising options for your donors and will allow staff to stay focused on your mission.
