About the Annual Border Bash Event
Border Bash has become an annual tradition occuring in downtown Augusta, Georgia on the Friday before the Georgia - South Carolina football game. Supported by numerous local sponsors, the evening event, celebrating its 23rd year, brings together over 10,000 UGA - USC fans of all ages for some pre-game family fun and rivalry to raise money for the children's charities in the CSRA. The Gamecock and Georgia cheerleaders along with team mascots, Cocky and Hairy Dawg, join the party each year that includes family and musical entertainment as well as team logo and food vendors from around the area.
