Next Steps
Step 1: Grant Seeker Sessions were held on June 27, 28, and 29, 2022. Here is the information you missed!
Please note: If your organization has never applied for a grant or has not received a site visit in the past three years, someone from your organization must have attended one of the trainings.
Step 2: Register/Login to our online grant system
First-time applicants will be prompted to create an account. If you have applied in the past, use your existing log-in.
Step 3: Submit a proposal
You may use some of our helpful tools below as you complete your proposal. You do not have to complete your application in one sitting, but final applications must be submitted by the grant deadline to be considered.
Step 4: Complete the Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form
The Community Foundation is transitioning to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments. If your organization would like to participate, please complete the EFT Authorization Form in your Grants Portal. If you prefer to have a mailed check, please let Community Foundation staff know so we can mark our system appropriately. Should you receive funding through the Community Foundation, your organization will be notified of the transaction date, the amount, and its purpose. If your organization has previously submitted this form, please review the form which can be located by clicking Organization History on your Applicant Dashboard. Let Community Foundation staff know if there have been any changes to your account information.
Report Back
Grant recipients must complete final reports that reflect on their progress toward the outcomes targeted in the grant proposal. Through these reports, both Foundation staff and your organization are able to gather valuable feedback and knowledge that can inform future work.
Report Deadlines:
- Submit a six-month report by July 15.
- Submit a final year end report by January 15 of the following year.
- Summer programs can submit just the year end report by August 30, 2022.
If your grant application was for a summer-only program that was completed by the time the new school year begins, you may skip the mid-year report and complete only the final report.
