About the Annual Border Bash Event
Border Bash is an annual event founded and hosted by Beasley Broadcast Group and held each September in Augusta, Georgia on the Friday before the University of South Carolina versus the University of Georgia Football game. The event provides entertainment and brings over 10,000 fans from USC and UGA for some pre-game fun and rivalry. USC Gamecock and UGA Bulldog cheerleaders and their mascots, Cocky and Hairy Dawg, meet at the big party where various vendors sell hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and USC and UGA apparel. The event, held at The Augusta Common, has become a tradition for many USC and UGA fans.
