The mission of The Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area is to encourage and promote philanthropy through education, responsible management of charitable contributions and the distribution of these funds, and to provide the structure for this to be accomplished by individuals, companies, private foundations and organizations.

A publicly supported 501(c)(3) charitable organization that acts as a catalyst in helping focus local philanthropy on pressing and changing community needs and maintains the charitable intent of donors, allowing immediate and future tax benefits.

Since 1996, The Community Foundation is proud to have made: 5,612 grants totaling $45,419,964.00.

You have the opportunity to be an integral part in making a positive difference in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) by donating to The Community Foundation for the CSRA. We welcome all levels of donation, whether you would like to make a one-time gift or a monthly, quarterly or yearly gift. All financial contributions to The Community Foundation are tax-deductible, and each donor will be sent a substantiation letter for their tax files once a donation is received at The Community Foundation.
To donate by mail:
Please mail a check with written instructions as to what your donation is designated for (i.e., Garden City Improvement Fund, Augusta Warrior Project Fund, Birdies & Bogeys Fund, Unrestricted Grants Fund, an Organization Endowment Fund or any other fund held by The Community Foundation). If you are not sure of a fund name, please call the Foundation at 706.724.1314. You may write your designation in the memo line of your check, or you may provide a note with the check stating the designation of your donation. Checks may be made payable to: The Community Foundation for the CSRA, and may be mailed to the following address:

To donate online:
1. Click on the "Donate Now" button shown in the icon above. Your internet browser will direct you to a page provided by Razoo™ , which will enable you to make a secure donation to The Community Foundation for the CSRA online using your credit card. Note! Effective April 1, 2013, Razoo will add in a 4.9% processing fee for use of their service. This fee is collected by Razoo and is deducted from the amount of your donation, but you will receive an acknowledgement for the entire amount of your donation.
2. On the right side of the page, enter the amount you wish to donate in the box found below Make a Donation. The next page will allow you to enter a designation, please click inside the box next to Add a designation to ensure that your donation is placed in the proper fund. In the box that appears below Add a designation, enter the fund name (i.e., Garden City Improvement Fund, Augusta Warrior Project Fund, Birdies & Bogeys Fund, Unrestricted Grants Fund, an Organization Endowment Fund or any other fund held by The Community Foundation). If you are not sure of a fund name, please call the Foundation at 706.724.1314.
3. After adding a designation, continue down the page entering your contact information and credit card information. After entering this information, click on the Donate Now button to complete the donation process. Remember to read carefully through all the prompts and the terms and conditions - and please note tht Razoo will charge your credit card an additional 2.9% of the donation amount. This fee is collected by Razoo and is not deducted from your donation, but is in addition to the amount of your donation.
